The International Bullying Prevention Association is pleased to present our 5th Annual Conference: NEW HORIZONS:  THE LATEST IN BULLYING PREVENTION AND RESEARCH.  The conference will be co-sponsored by the Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy with the Indiana Department of Education. The conference is designed for school guidance counselors, administrators, teachers, school health educators, school social workers, school psychologists, school safety specialists, Safe and Drug-Free Coordinators, school resource officers (SRO's), school attorneys, and law enforcement working with youth, student service directors, PTA/PTO members, children and family mental health counselors, school nurses, school board members, parents, extended day/after school staff, prevention specialists, etc. This conference also welcomes college students.

The mission of the International Bullying Prevention Association (IBPA) is to support and enhance quality research based bullying prevention principles and practices in order to achieve a safe school climate, healthy work environment, good citizenship, and civic responsibility. A majority of conference participants are public and private school personnel and prevention specialists in non-profit organizations or private practice. All are involved in working towards bullying prevention and intervention plans for schools and individuals who are impacted by bullying. The conference will bring together educators, physical and mental health professionals, policy makers, law enforcement officers, attorneys, researchers, parents, college students, school board members, prevention specialists, and others.   We respectfully invite speakers and workshop presenters whose work relates to our underlying mission and would be useful for the professionals who attend the international conference.

* There will be a session for Olweus trainers on Saturday, November 8th.
