2012 IBPA Conference Review
This year’s International Bullying Prevention Association conference was a great success! Just under 700 professionals came together in beautiful Kansas City to share ideas, learn new strategies and hear about the latest research about bullying prevention. Participants came from 24 different countries and many different
settings in communities. Keynote presenters touched all of us with their messages while experts shared specific strategies in workshops throughout the two days. Exhibitors and sponsors were on hand to share information about services and products to support bullying prevention efforts. From the youth panel that was enlightening, to the dessert reception that we all found a favorite dessert at; the opportunities to share and network were plentiful. Thank you for taking time from your work to come and join us for the conference.
--Rodger Dinwiddie, President, International Bullying Prevention Association
